G. Torres Jr.
Accordian/Segunda Voz
John
has been playing for 12 years. He has
played with well-known bands such as
Stefani, Rodeo, Patsy Torres, Los
Hermanos Jaime, Chente Barrera, among
others. His stage presence and
showmanship helped him to be a very
sought after musician. John is a
graduate of UTSA with a bachelor’s
degree in Accounting. Now that he has
graduated, he will pursue his dream of
having his own band with his brother,
Jason. He also plays keyboards and the
violin. John says that he has been
influenced by accordion players such as
Steve Jordan, David Lee Garza, Joe
Martinez (Los Hometown Boys), Ramon
Ayala, and Joel Guzman. |

Jason
Torres
Bajo Sexto/Primera Voz
Jason
has been playing the bajo sexto for 7 years. He began playing with his brother
in the group, Los Hermanos Jaime. He has
since played with various bands
including Chente Barrera and Eddie
Gonzalez. Being the youngest of the
group, Jason is known for his charisma
and his awesome gritos that get the
people stirred up and wanting to get on
the dance floor. Other Bajo sexto
players that Jason looks up to are Juan
P. Moreno and Oscar Tellez. |

Casimiro
"Casey" Palma
DrumsCasey
has been playing drums for 10 years. He
and John played together with Eddie
Guerrero and from that point on Casey
went on to play with several other well
known bands including Deya and most
recently Elida Reyna. His musical
influences include Ramon Ayala, Jaime
DeAnda y Los Chamacos, and Intocable. He
says that his idol is Rene Martinez from
Intocable. |
